Construction Project Manager II (Mission Critical)

Location: Chicago, United States; travel for projects is required. Employment verification to work in the U.S. is required.

Salary: $120,000–$145,000 per year, with possible additional commission and/or incentive compensation.

What you will do

• Administer assigned construction projects and project management phases under supervision.
• Participate in owner and client sales presentations, design development, budget preparation, and scheduling.
• Prepare and control budgets, schedules, and bid documents; negotiate and award subcontracts.
• Monitor job costs, keep supervising project managers or division managers informed, and help prepare profit projections.
• Coordinate jobsite meetings and project status reporting.
• Complete project closeout activities, including final costs, punch lists, billing, and fee collection.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Engineering or Construction Management.
• At least 6 years of proven experience in the mission critical industry.
• Ability and willingness to travel for projects.
• Verification of employment eligibility to work in the United States.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of complex mission critical MEP systems.
• Understanding of early turnover dates and mission critical commissioning processes.
• Experience with critical work Methods of Procedures processes.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office, Procore, P6, and other management tools.
