Commercial Construction Project Manager (Mission Critical)

Salary: $106,480–$145,200 per year; compensation may vary by city and state.

What you will do

• Lead commercial construction projects from pre-construction planning through closeout, ensuring delivery on schedule, within budget, and to required quality standards.
• Create and manage project budgets, schedules, milestones, owner reports, logistics, and quality-control processes.
• Develop pre-construction RFP packages and manage RFIs, submittals, pay applications, and subcontractor change orders.
• Conduct project meetings and serve as the primary liaison among clients, project teams, subcontractors, vendors, and site operations.
• Supervise and coach assistant project managers, administrative support, MEP managers, safety personnel, and other operations staff.
• Maintain client relationships, identify customer needs, and support the development of new business relationships.

Requirements

• High school diploma required; a four-year degree in construction, engineering, or business is strongly preferred. Additional experience may substitute for a degree.
• At least 5 years of commercial construction experience, including work with a commercial general contractor.
• Previous project management experience with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Procore, Adobe, Bluebeam, JD Edwards, and other project-specific software.
• Ability to read, interpret, and update construction drawings and organize people, tools, and time to meet tight deadlines.
• Strong leadership, communication, collaboration, customer-service, decision-making, and multitasking skills.
