Commissioning - Data Centers (Electrical and Mechanical Systems)

Location: Jobsite in Pampa, Texas, with 100% travel required. Candidates must reside in one of the following states: Alabama, Arizona, Arkansas, Florida, Georgia, Indiana, Michigan, Missouri, Nevada, Ohio, Oklahoma, South Carolina, Texas, Utah, Virginia, Washington, or West Virginia. Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States.

Salary: $99,000–$122,700 in Virginia; $103,700–$128,600 in Washington.

What you will do

• Commission mission-critical electrical and mechanical equipment for data center facilities.
• Assist with commissioning policies, scripts, procedures, test plans, and technical documentation.
• Validate equipment installations and perform construction observations.
• Execute tests for power generation and distribution, UPS systems, automatic transfer switches, PDUs, medium-voltage switchgear, chilled water systems, DDC controls, and DX HVAC equipment.
• Review design documents and equipment submittals, analyze test data, and prepare technical reports.
• Communicate with clients, contractors, and project team members throughout commissioning activities.

Requirements

• 2+ years of industry experience, preferably with a strong emphasis on data centers.
• Working knowledge of electrical power systems or equivalent industry experience.
• Degree or equivalent training and experience in electrical, mechanical, or another engineering discipline.
• Experience with electrical construction document quality control, building codes, and construction standards.
• Proficiency with MS Office and AutoCAD.
• Strong leadership, communication, organization, multitasking, and problem-solving skills in fast-paced environments.

Nice to have

• Bluebeam experience.
• Professional commissioning certification, such as Certified Commissioning Professional.
• Military training or a two-year degree.
