Manager, Branch Office - Clairemont Mesa

Location: On-site in San Diego, California, United States; may require working at or permanently transferring to neighboring branches within a reasonable commuting distance. Available Monday–Saturday, with hours based on business needs.

Salary: $110,500–$141,600 annually.

What you will do

• Manage and direct daily operations of a medium or large full-service branch.
• Lead staff in delivering lending products, deposit accounts, and other financial services.
• Oversee cash operations, vault procedures, ATM activities, self-audits, security, and emergency preparedness.
• Set performance goals, improve productivity, and train, mentor, recruit, onboard, and evaluate branch employees.
• Administer branch budgets, purchasing, records retention, and operational reporting.
• Lead member-service, marketing, community, and business-development activities while coordinating with neighboring branches.

Requirements

• Five years of experience at grade level 78 or higher, or applicable external experience.
• Extensive experience leading and managing complex operational environments and supervising employees.
• Expert knowledge of consumer lending, credit cards, mortgage and equity loans, savings and checking accounts, and financial institution regulations.
• Expert knowledge of cash and ATM operations, retail banking practices, business performance analysis, and trend reporting.
• Experience training and developing staff, managing customer-service operations, and handling complex financial information.
• Advanced communication, organizational, planning, time-management, word-processing, and spreadsheet skills.

Nice to have

• Advanced knowledge of Navy Federal products, services, programs, policies, and procedures.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business Administration, or an equivalent combination of training, education, and experience.
