Technician (Audiovisual)

Location: Onsite in hotel and convention center environments, event venues, and warehouses; work may involve multiple hotel locations and irregular on-call hours.

Hourly pay range: $19.57–$24.00

What you will do

• Set up, operate, monitor, and break down basic audiovisual systems for events.
• Meet with guests onsite, maintain client relationships, and ensure customer needs are met.
• Troubleshoot equipment and software issues and handle changes professionally.
• Follow venue safety requirements, supplier protocols, and company procedures.
• Coordinate equipment with staff and outside vendors, including loading, labeling, scanning, storage, and strike activities.
• Complete system entries and paperwork, support invoice finalization, and use floor upselling techniques.

Requirements

• High school diploma required; an associate degree is preferred.
• Ability to achieve Technical Level 3 Certification within 180 days.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs. and work around audiovisual equipment, electrical components, heights, noise, and variable temperatures.
• Valid driver’s license required for team members who may operate company vehicles; additional DOT requirements may apply.
• Customer service or hospitality experience and audiovisual experience are preferred.
• Availability for irregular hours, on-call work, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
