Ambient Field Technician (Environmental Monitoring)

Location: Deer Park, Texas, United States; on-site field work with up to 50% travel

Salary: $24–$28 per hour, depending on experience, skills, and geographic location.

What you will do

• Assist with preparation, deployment, testing, and sampling for air monitoring activities.
• Assemble, operate, and troubleshoot ambient air testing equipment independently.
• Prepare, clean, repair, and calibrate equipment before field projects.
• Follow safety procedures and report hazards or unsafe work practices to the supervisor.
• Provide customer service to clients and support laboratory, shop, and equipment maintenance.

Requirements

• Ability to travel up to 50% and work in industrial settings and outdoors.
• High school diploma through bachelor's degree.
• Valid driver's license.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment.
• Time management and prioritization skills.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, or similar computer software.
