Photolithography Lab Operator

Location: Fremont, California, United States. Onsite work in a photolithography laboratory and clean room. Overtime and weekend work may be required.

Salary: $20–$23 per hour plus a 10% shift differential.

What you will do

• Perform photolithography operations in a clean room using manual and semi-automated equipment and chemical processes.
• Clean, etch, plate, develop, and pattern substrates according to customer specifications and manufacturing process flows.
• Use microscopes, masking aligners, X-ray, Alpha-step, Beta scope, calipers, and related measurement tools to inspect and manufacture thin-film products.
• Enter quality data and results, interpret drawings and critical criteria, and follow special instructions.
• Handle photoresists, acids, solvents, alcohol, acetone, and associated hazardous waste while maintaining an orderly work area.
• Coach team members and support safe, accurate, and efficient task execution.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical school or an associate degree is a plus.
• Hands-on experience with photolithography development and manufacturing processes.
• Experience using laboratory and photolithography equipment, including microscopes, Asher, X-ray, Beta scope, Alpha-step, and masking aligners.
• Experience handling chemicals and knowledge of Good Laboratory Practices and safety procedures.
• Proficient English with good written and verbal communication skills.
• Must qualify as a U.S. Person under ITAR/EAR requirements, including U.S. citizenship, lawful permanent residency, refugee status, or asylee status.

Nice to have

• Technical school or associate degree.
