Mechatronics Engineer (Food Processing)

Location: Onsite in Pluak Daeng/Rayong, Thailand

What you will do

• Collaborate with operations and maintenance teams to improve material-handling methods and equipment performance.
• Evaluate processes, recommend cost-effective improvements, and support equipment troubleshooting, maintenance, and repairs.
• Set maintenance priorities and work standards while participating in preventive and predictive maintenance programs.
• Investigate system failures, implement corrective actions, and improve equipment reliability through modifications and efficiency projects.
• Conduct facility inspections, job safety analyses, and safety training for internal and outsourced maintenance activities.
• Support EHS, quality, food safety, hazard identification, emergency response, audit, and regulatory activities.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, or equivalent, with 5 years of relevant experience.
• Proficiency in ERP systems; SAP experience is highly desirable.
• Solid understanding of GMP for food additives and pharmaceutical excipients.
• Strong analytical, communication, and computer skills, including Word, Excel, and SAP.
• Maintenance work must meet safety, health, environmental, cGMP, and HACCP requirements.

• Experience as a multi-craft maintenance supervisor.
• Experience in chemical or food processing industries.
