M&A Associate

hirify.global is an international legal practice with a global network and a Beijing-based Corporate & Finance group.

What you will do

• Advise multinational corporations, private equity sponsors, venture capital investors, sovereign wealth funds, state-owned enterprises, and financial institutions on cross-border M&A and corporate transactions.
• Support Partners and senior attorneys across the full transaction lifecycle, from initial advice through execution and closing.
• Conduct legal research, manage and review legal due diligence, and advise clients on transaction-related legal issues.
• Prepare and negotiate transaction documents, coordinating with local counsel and other stakeholders.
• Support transactions including mergers and acquisitions, investments and exits, joint ventures, strategic alliances, and corporate restructurings.
• Manage client relationships, apply commercial awareness, and supervise and mentor junior team members.

Requirements

• PRC legal qualification is required.
• At least four years of legal experience in corporate transactional matters at a leading PRC or international law firm.
• Substantial experience with cross-border M&A and corporate transactions.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both English and Chinese are required.
• Strong knowledge of corporate, M&A, private equity, and general commercial law, including legal research, due diligence, drafting, and transaction execution.
• Strong interpersonal, commercial, legal judgment, project management, and mentoring skills.

Nice to have

• Additional legal qualification in Hong Kong, England & Wales, New York, or another common law jurisdiction.
