What you will do
- Provide clinical pharmacist services, including reviewing and approving medication orders, monitoring drug therapies, and delivering drug information.
- Manage the day-to-day operation of an ambulatory dermatology pharmacy area and coordinate professional and technical staff.
- Oversee staff performance, coaching, counseling, training, and onboarding in collaboration with pharmacy leadership.
- Promote safe and modern medication preparation, compounding, dispensing, delivery, and clinical pharmacy practices.
- Ensure compliance with pharmacy regulations, public health requirements, state and federal law, and professional standards.
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, pharmacy staff, and other healthcare professionals to improve patient outcomes.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy.
- Pharmacist license.
- At least three years of related experience.
- Clinical pharmacy expertise with direct patient care experience through residency training or prior employment.
- Knowledge of pharmacy laws, clinical best practices, medication-use optimization, health plan formularies, and electronic medical records.
- Strong communication, presentation, organizational, problem-solving, technology, and Microsoft Office skills.
Nice to have
- Doctor of Pharmacy degree.
- Board certification.
- Four years of related experience.
- Prior supervisory experience.
