Technician (Audiovisual)

Location: Hotel or convention-center environments; team members may work across multiple hotel locations.

Hourly pay: $14.22–$18.49.

What you will do

• Set up, operate, monitor, and break down basic audiovisual equipment for events.
• Meet with guests on site, confirm their needs, and ensure equipment operates properly throughout the event.
• Troubleshoot equipment and software issues and handle technical changes promptly.
• Use equipment sheets, complete system entries and paperwork, and coordinate with staff and external vendors.
• Support revenue generation through floor upselling and work with clients to finalize invoices.

Requirements

• High school diploma required; an associate’s degree is preferred.
• Complete all position-specific training and certifications within 60 days of starting, where applicable.
• Customer service or hospitality experience and audiovisual experience are preferred.
• A valid driver’s license is required for team members who may operate company vehicles; additional DOT requirements may apply.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs and meet the physical demands of the role.
