Adjunct Faculty: CID-CBE M.Ed. Instructional Design (Instructional Design)

What you will do

• Teach three semester credit hours per 7-week term in fully online competency-based education orientation courses.
• Respond to student inquiries within 24 hours and provide timely feedback on assignments and assessments.
• Facilitate courses according to the standard syllabus provided by the Assistant Dean.
• Monitor undergraduate orientation courses and provide weekly status reports to academic advisors.
• Develop and maintain syllabi, course content, question libraries, and other teaching materials.
• Prepare and evaluate assignments and examinations.

Requirements

• Terminal degree in instructional design or a closely related field with 18 hours in the subject area, or a master’s degree in instructional design with a terminal degree in a closely related field.
• Proficiency with computers and Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to multitask, work cooperatively, and work with minimal supervision.
• Availability to work outside business hours and on weekends.
