Adjunct Instructor - Video Game Design

What you will do

• Plan, prepare, and deliver lectures, seminars, and laboratory instruction in video game design.
• Develop course syllabi, select instructional materials, and design exams, quizzes, papers, and other assessments.
• Assess student performance, provide timely feedback, and evaluate learning outcomes.
• Engage students through active learning, discussion, collaboration, critical thinking, and hands-on activities.
• Provide office hours, academic guidance, feedback, and mentoring to students.
• Use innovative teaching methods, technologies, and pedagogical approaches while following university, academic integrity, and accreditation requirements.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in Video Game Design or a closely related field from an accredited university.
• At least 18 graduate hours in the teaching discipline.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills in English.
• Ability to teach undergraduate and graduate-level subject matter and collaborate professionally with students, staff, and faculty.
• Completion of credential verification and a criminal history investigation is required for this security-sensitive position.

Nice to have

• Doctorate or terminal degree in Video Game Design or a closely related field.
• Previous online teaching experience at the collegiate level.
