Adjunct Instructor - Design

Location: Stephenville, Texas, with assignments at the Stephenville or Fort Worth campuses and through the online community. Teaching may be delivered in person or through approved instructional modalities.

What you will do

• Plan, prepare, and deliver lectures, seminars, and laboratory instruction in design.
• Develop course syllabi, select instructional materials, and create examinations, quizzes, papers, and other assessments.
• Assess student performance, provide timely feedback, and evaluate learning outcomes.
• Engage students through active learning, critical thinking, discussion, collaboration, and hands-on activities.
• Provide office hours, academic support, feedback, and mentoring to students.
• Follow university policies, academic integrity standards, accreditation requirements, and Campus Security Authority responsibilities.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in Design or a closely related field from an accredited university.
• At least 18 graduate credit hours in the teaching discipline.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills in English.
• Ability to teach and communicate disciplinary subject matter at undergraduate and graduate levels.
• Ability to collaborate professionally with students, staff, and faculty.

Nice to have

• Doctorate or terminal degree in Design or a closely related field.
• Previous collegiate-level online teaching experience.
