Business Technology Solutions Associate Consultant (AI/ML)

Location: Hybrid role based in Princeton, New Jersey; New York, New York; Chicago, Illinois; Boston, Massachusetts; Bethesda, Maryland; Philadelphia, Pennsylvania; Evanston, Illinois; Atlanta, Georgia; or Durham, North Carolina. Regular work-from-home and on-site presence at client or hirify.global offices is expected. Travel to other offices and client locations is required.

Salary: $120,000–$137,000 per year

What you will do

• Design, build, deploy, and support production-grade AI/ML solutions for R&D and life sciences.
• Develop end-to-end pipelines covering data ingestion, feature engineering, model training, evaluation, deployment, and monitoring.
• Implement generative AI and agentic AI solutions using orchestration frameworks, prompt engineering, and enterprise model integrations.
• Work with data engineering, cloud, architecture, internal, and client teams to operationalize scalable solutions.
• Apply software engineering practices, including versioning, testing, CI/CD, model validation, performance evaluation, and data-drift monitoring.
• Lead project modules and workstreams, coordinate task planning, mentor team members, and support delivery planning, staffing, and risk mitigation.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in business analytics, computer science, MIS, or a related field, with strong academic performance.
• 3–5+ years of experience delivering small- or medium-scale technology solutions, including R&D technology projects.
• Hands-on Python-based data science or AI development experience and exposure to deploying AI solutions on cloud platforms.
• Knowledge of R&D processes in clinical development, quality, regulatory operations, and/or drug safety.
• Strong understanding of RDBMS concepts, SQL, data warehousing, reporting, big data, data management, analytics, algorithms, and data structures.
• Fluency in English and willingness to work in a hybrid, client-facing role with required travel.

• Experience implementing agentic AI solutions and formal education or certifications in AI and machine learning.
• Experience with large-scale clinical transformation programs.
