Portfolio Analyst I

Location: HQ - San Diego, California, United States

Salary: $22.00–$26.00 per hour, plus discretionary annual cash and restricted stock unit bonus targets of 5% each.

What you will do

• Support management of the commercial real estate loan portfolio within the Real Estate Lender Finance Group.
• Monitor individual credits through financial statement analysis, covenant tracking, portfolio data collection, and credit file maintenance.
• Author credit memoranda for loan upsizes, credit amendments, and loan risk-rating updates.
• Implement process improvements, author procedures, and create job aids for Portfolio Analysts.
• Apply the organization’s credit culture and risk tolerance to help mitigate threats to the safety and soundness of the loan portfolio.
• Manage multiple workflows and adapt to changing business demands.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
• At least 1 year of experience in underwriting, structuring, or portfolio management of commercial real estate transactions.
• Strong organizational, client-relations, business-writing, and process-improvement skills.
• Ability to operate standard office equipment and sit for extended periods.
