CRE Portfolio Manager I (Commercial Real Estate)

What you will do

• Manage assigned commercial real estate customer portfolios in partnership with Relationship Managers.
• Own credit quality, monitoring, risk ratings, underwriting quality, and portfolio administration.
• Manage delinquencies, collateral exceptions, borrowing bases, portfolio reviews, criticized loans, and specialized reporting.
• Analyze portfolio trends and opportunities while maintaining knowledge of market and industry developments.
• Present proposed credit actions in written analyses and, when required, verbally to the Senior Loan Committee.
• Work with Credit Analysts and mentor them in developing required competencies and experience.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or demonstrated equivalent knowledge and expertise.
• At least 1 year of commercial credit experience.
• At least 3 years of Portfolio Manager and/or credit analysis experience.
• Experience collaborating with Team Leaders, Relationship Managers, Regional Commercial Management, and Regional Credit Officers.
• Current full-time authorization to work in the United States is required; visa sponsorship is not available.

Nice to have

• Commercial Real Estate experience.
• Knowledge of commercial cross-sell products, including foreign exchange, commodities, interest rate derivatives, treasury management, and commercial cards.
• Experience with commercial banking systems such as CLOS, PMTS, MAX, CARS, MS Office Suite, RETS, and AFS.
