Senior Product Owner (Fintech)

Location: Minneapolis, Minnesota; in-office collaboration required at least four days per week, with flexibility to work from home one day per week. Applicants must have valid US work authorization and must not require visa sponsorship now or in the future.

Base salary: $114,500–$157,400 per year, plus potential variable compensation and benefits.

What you will do

• Lead one or more Agile Scrum teams delivering digital collaboration outcomes for the Client Secure Site.
• Define product vision, strategy, roadmaps, KPIs, and prioritized backlogs based on customer and business needs.
• Translate user and business requirements into roadmaps, user stories, and backlog items with engineering, UX, and cross-functional partners.
• Improve advisor and client adoption of online meeting and collaboration capabilities.
• Align priorities and tradeoffs with senior stakeholders across Digital, Advice, Advisor Tools, and Advisor Technology.
• Manage the annual product budget in partnership with the Product Owner Director.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• 7+ years of product management or product owner experience, including at least 3 years in an Agile, software-based environment.
• Experience leading product discovery and strategy, translating business strategy and customer insights into product direction and roadmaps.
• Ability to influence design, engineering, and business partners without direct authority.
• Experience using analytics, research findings, and customer feedback to inform product decisions.
• Strong communication, prioritization, and organizational skills.

Nice to have

• Experience with digital products in financial services or another highly regulated industry.
• Partnership experience with UX research and design teams.
• Agile certification or background, such as CSPO, SAFe PO/PM, or Scrum Master.
• Experience in highly matrixed organizations and facilitating visioning, discovery, and alignment workshops.
• Experience with Jira, Productboard, Confluence, or similar product tools.
