Branch Manager (Consumer Finance)

Location: Milledgeville, Georgia, United States. Office-based role with regular in-person attendance; occasional local travel to banks and offsite locations, extended hours, or weekend work may be required.

Salary: $36,000–$42,000 per year based on experience and location, plus performance-based bonus opportunities.

What you will do

• Meet branch goals for loan growth, tax preparation production, profitability, portfolio performance, and delinquency.
• Grow the branch through customer outreach, outbound calling, referrals, networking, community engagement, and promotion of financial products and services.
• Review, approve, and close loans within company guidelines.
• Manage delinquency and collection efforts to maintain portfolio performance and minimize losses.
• Lead, train, coach, and develop branch employees while holding them accountable for performance.
• Oversee branch operations, ensure compliance with company policies and applicable laws, and resolve escalated customer concerns.

Requirements

• At least one year of management experience or successful completion of a management training program.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and current insurance.
• Ability to obtain required insurance licensing.
• Ability to independently perform bank runs and transport deposits without relying on non-employees for transportation.
• Experience with sales, lending, collections, portfolio performance, profitability goals, branch operations, and employee development.

Nice to have

• Background in consumer finance, banking, retail banking, lending, credit, insurance, tax preparation, or similar financial services.
• Experience growing a customer portfolio, making lending or credit decisions, generating new business, and achieving sales or profitability goals.
