Associate Scientist, Bioassay Development and Screening (Biotechnology)

What you will do

• Develop and perform cell-based assays for the VelocImmune antibody pipeline.
• Characterize and screen therapeutic antibodies across neuroscience, immunology, and other disease areas.
• Develop and characterize cell lines using transfection, transduction, and CRISPR-based cell engineering.
• Apply flow cytometry and imaging, and optimize luciferase reporter and internalization assays.
• Perform primary immune-cell assays and high-throughput functional screens in 96- and 384-well formats.
• Analyze and document experimental results, then present findings to supervisors and colleagues.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in biology or a related field with at least 3 years of relevant professional experience, or a master’s degree with 0–3 years of relevant experience.
• Experience planning, executing, and analyzing experiments and presenting data clearly.
• Hands-on experience with mammalian cell culture and in vitro or cell-based assays.
• Familiarity with assays investigating molecular and cellular function and signal transduction pathways.
• Strong organization and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, multitasking environment.

Nice to have

• Experience with cell engineering, multi-well assays, cell-based functional assays, flow cytometry, or imaging.
• Background in immunology, antibody development, or primary immune-cell assays.
