Lead Technician - Recycling 5K Incentive

What you will do

• Direct and coach a group of technicians while scheduling safe and timely maintenance work.
• Repair and maintain recycling equipment, compact heavy equipment, light trucks, hydraulic systems, electrical systems, engines, balers, conveyors, and compactors.
• Diagnose complex mechanical and electromechanical problems using diagnostic software, charts, and technical manuals.
• Perform preventive maintenance, replace worn components, and complete work orders and field service reports.
• Install and configure new equipment and coordinate maintenance schedules with vendors.
• Read, troubleshoot, and program simple PLC instructions to support plant monitoring and maintenance objectives.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of equipment maintenance and repair experience.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Working knowledge of Tier 4 emission systems.
• Welding and/or fabrication experience.
• PLC programming experience.
• Ability to follow safety standards and applicable federal and state regulations.
