TL;DR
Strategic Planning & Operations Team Lead (AI): Leading operational execution for Global HEVA – Specialty Care, including evidence dissemination, publication processes, HUB coordination, financial management, and compliance with an accent on healthcare research operations and compliant AI adoption. Focus on translating strategic priorities into scalable processes, managing cross-functional delivery and audit readiness, and implementing digital innovation across HEVA.

Location: Cambridge, MA or Morristown, NJ; hybrid with three days per week in the office and approximately 20% travel

Salary: $206,250–$297,916 per year

What you will do

  • Lead short- and long-term operational planning for Global HEVA – Specialty Care and track performance against KPIs.
  • Oversee evidence communication, U.S. dissemination strategies, publication processes, and related materials and templates.
  • Manage HUB coordination, resource planning, utilization tracking, budgets, vendors, and performance reporting.
  • Execute the HEVA Innovation Incubator roadmap by implementing AI and digital tools in collaboration with IS, Legal, and Compliance.
  • Coordinate launch-readiness and business development support, including dossiers, evidence summaries, and dissemination materials.
  • Lead audit readiness, corrective actions, SOP development, and cross-functional collaboration with Finance, Legal, Procurement, Quality Assurance, and Compliance.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required; advanced training in business administration, finance, economics, healthcare, or a related field is preferred.
  • At least 10 years of experience in pharmaceuticals, health outcomes research, clinical research operations, academic healthcare research, or a related healthcare setting.
  • Experience managing and developing direct reports in a matrixed, cross-functional environment.
  • Knowledge of scientific, legal, regulatory, ethical, and publication standards for clinical and health outcomes research.
  • Experience with project management, operational performance, publication processes, evidence dissemination, or health outcomes research operations.
  • Strong communication, stakeholder management, decision-making, and problem-solving skills, including the ability to work with Finance, Legal, Compliance, IS, and other functions.

Nice to have

  • Post-bachelor’s degree or relevant advanced training.
  • Significant leadership experience.
  • Experience with AI and digital tools in pharmaceutical or healthcare research.
