Associate Manager of Building Services

What you will do

• Oversee the building services business, maintenance programs, service requests, equipment repairs, and operational performance.
• Support field teams with maintenance responsibilities and perform service tasks as demand fluctuates.
• Pursue new business, estimate and present maintenance proposals, manage financials and budgets, and build customer relationships.
• Supervise, train, and develop staff while providing operational expertise across departments.
• Manage CMMS schedules, contract obligations, service performance, and quality assurance initiatives.
• Promote and execute the Ryan Safety program and participate in strategic planning and company initiatives.

Requirements

• Two- or four-year technical degree, or equivalent experience, in building operations, systems, and equipment.
• At least 5 years of experience operating a commercial office building, including mechanical aptitude and leadership experience.
• At least 2 years in a supervisory capacity, with strong communication, organization, and basic accounting and financial skills.
• Universal CFC certification and ability to obtain local licenses or certifications as required.
• Excellent knowledge of building systems and equipment; intermediate to advanced proficiency with MS Word and Excel.
• Valid driver's license, reliable insured transportation, and employment eligibility in the United States.

Nice to have

• Mechanical contractor licenses, competency cards, or other trade-specific certifications.
• SMA, SMT, and LEED certification or equivalent.
• Sales, training, and business development experience.
