Investment Real Estate Underwriting Portfolio Manager 2

Location: Charlotte, North Carolina, United States; onsite at 401 S Graham St. Occasional travel may be required.

What you will do

• Manage, underwrite, monitor, and analyze an assigned commercial investment real estate loan portfolio.
• Lead complex transactions involving construction loans, multi-level capital structures, and large developments.
• Identify portfolio risks, maintain acceptable tolerances, and monitor published KPIs and KRIs.
• Prepare and present written and verbal credit recommendations covering credit structure, risk ratings, stress analysis, and policy compliance.
• Support Commercial Relationship Managers in client relationship management.
• Contribute to group-wide process improvements and mentor junior Underwriting Portfolio Managers.

Requirements

• BA or BS degree.
• At least 3 years of job-related experience.
• Knowledge of investment real estate lending, underwriting, commercial banking policies, procedures, and government regulations.
• Strong analytical, organizational, communication, interpersonal, customer service, and project management skills.
• Intermediate Microsoft Excel skills; basic Microsoft Word and PowerPoint skills.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States; employment-based visa sponsorship is not provided.
