Software Engineer - Platform Integration (Fintech)

Location: New York, NY, United States. Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States without current or future visa sponsorship and must be able to start work in the U.S. on the first day.

Base salary: $142,000–$178,000 per year, plus bonus, equity, and benefits.

What you will do

• Build and maintain data systems that reliably process large volumes of client financial data.
• Develop client onboarding solutions that bring financial data into hirify.global systems.
• Identify and resolve bottlenecks as data volumes and complexity increase.
• Collaborate with Product, Client Solutions, and engineering teams on integrated onboarding solutions.
• Communicate technical ideas and contribute to engineering direction.

Requirements

• Backend software engineering experience.
• Experience with Python and/or Java and relational databases.
• Strong ownership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience optimizing data pipelines and workflows for scale and performance.
• U.S. work authorization without current or future visa sponsorship is required.

Nice to have

• Experience with PySpark or similar data processing frameworks.
• Experience building data systems with Databricks and/or AWS.
