Senior Software Engineer (Fintech)

Location: Seattle, Washington, United States; hybrid work with onsite attendance required Tuesday through Thursday each week.

Salary: $180,000–$225,000 annual base salary, plus equity and additional compensation components.

What you will do

• Design and build backend services supporting experimentation, feature flag management, and decision intelligence workflows at scale.
• Develop platform capabilities for metric definitions, semantic layers, and trusted business review tooling.
• Partner with product managers, business stakeholders, data scientists, analysts, AI/ML practitioners, and engineers.
• Improve platform reliability, observability, usability, self-service workflows, and data quality.
• Shape the long-term architecture for experimentation, measurement, and decision-support systems.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience developing production applications.
• Professional experience with Go, Java, Kotlin, or Python.
• Hands-on experience designing, building, and operating distributed systems or internal platforms with high reliability requirements.
• Experience with experimentation, feature management, metrics platforms, semantic layers, or analytics infrastructure.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms, data pipelines, event-driven systems, and modern storage and compute architectures.
• Strong cross-functional collaboration skills and the ability to build intuitive, scalable platform abstractions.
