Manufacturing Engineering Intern (Semiconductor)

Location: Singapore, at 8 Upper Changi Road North; onsite cleanroom work required

What you will do

• Carry out a continuous-improvement project within a semiconductor equipment manufacturing line.
• Analyze production and equipment data to identify bottlenecks, quality issues, and cost drivers.
• Develop and implement actions to reduce costs, improve quality, and shorten cycle time.
• Gain exposure to robotics-assisted operations and AI/ML-based tools in a smart-factory environment.
• Work with Production, Quality, Supply Chain, and Engineering teams to validate findings and measure outcomes.
• Apply problem-solving and root-cause analysis methods while managing a small-scale project.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing Mechanical or Electrical/Electronic Engineering.
• Strong desire to learn and good communication skills.
• Ability to understand mechanical drawings and electrical/electronic wiring diagrams.
• Basic Python programming logic.
• Willingness to work in a cleanroom environment in Singapore.
• Available for at least five months during the first half of 2027.
