Senior Operations Research Analyst

Location: Redstone Arsenal, Huntsville, Alabama; candidates must reside in the area or be willing to relocate to Huntsville

What you will do

• Plan and conduct independent cost analyses for an Army Product Office.
• Calculate and forecast future costs for systems, projects, programs, and resources.
• Create and maintain lifecycle cost estimates in ACE-IT and develop cost-estimating methodologies.
• Develop resource controls, budgetary analyses, and recommendations for acquisition and funding decisions.
• Apply statistical, parametric, non-parametric, regression, economic, and computer-modeling techniques.
• Analyze Earned Value Management reports and prepare status, forecast, milestone, and budget-review briefings.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in mathematics, statistics, or operations research is desired.
• 10+ years of relevant work experience is desired.
• ACE-IT cost modeling experience and strong knowledge of Microsoft Office are required.
• Knowledge of U.S. Army acquisition processes and experience supporting executive-level leadership are required.
• Strong written and verbal communication, organization, attention to detail, and independent problem-solving skills.
• Active Secret security clearance required.
