Design and Engineering Project Manager (Construction)

Location: hirify.global Orlando, United States; onsite work across the park and construction sites

What you will do

• Manage multiple capital improvement and infrastructure projects from concept development through construction closeout.
• Define project scopes, budgets, schedules, and execution plans while tracking delivery throughout the project lifecycle.
• Coordinate architects, engineers, consultants, contractors, vendors, and internal stakeholders.
• Lead project meetings and communicate status, risks, budgets, and timelines to leadership.
• Review drawings, specifications, cost estimates, schedules, bids, contracts, and change orders.
• Conduct site walks, monitor quality and safety, and coordinate work within an active park while minimizing impacts on guests and operations.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, architecture, project management, or a related field.
• At least three years of project management or construction management experience.
• Experience managing multiple projects in a commercial, hospitality, entertainment, industrial, municipal, or similar environment.
• Working knowledge of construction processes, budgeting, scheduling, permitting, and project delivery methods.
• Experience coordinating contractors, consultants, and cross-functional stakeholders; ability to interpret construction drawings, specifications, schedules, and budgets.
• Ability to work outdoors, walk throughout the park and construction sites, navigate stairs and construction areas, occasionally work at heights, and lift up to 35 pounds.

Nice to have

• Experience in theme parks, hospitality, attractions, entertainment venues, resorts, or other guest-facing environments.
• Experience managing projects in occupied or operational facilities.
• Familiarity with project scheduling and construction management software.
• PMP, CCM, PE, RA, or another related professional certification.
