Power System Metering Engineer

Location: King of Prussia, PA; Nashua, NH; or Lewis Center, OH

Salary: $97,700–$160,000 per year

What you will do

• Work with customers to apply new technologies and solutions to electric power systems.
• Design models and demonstrations that show how metering technologies can enhance customer systems.
• Support SEL products and solutions by troubleshooting issues and identifying root causes.
• Analyze meter and relay responses to power system faults, power quality anomalies, and load interruptions.
• Teach customers how to use SEL products and contribute to technical publications, application guides, and white papers.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field; a master’s degree is preferred.
• 5+ years of experience with power quality, metering, and electric power systems.
• Experience with revenue metering and harmonics.
• Strong customer service, problem-solving, teaching, and creative engineering skills.
• Ability to travel 25% of the time.

Nice to have

• Experience with SEL metering products such as SEL 734, 735, or T-35.
• Experience with SEL Blueframe or AcSELerator TEAM software platforms.
