Director - Advanced Manufacturing Operations Engineering (Manufacturing)

Location: Waukesha, Wisconsin, USA; up to 20% travel and a valid driver's license required.

What you will do

• Develop and deploy strategic manufacturing footprint roadmaps, including five-year plans for each facility.
• Improve floor-space utilization, asset uptime, productivity, operating costs, and facility efficiency.
• Lead the advanced manufacturing operations engineering team through project planning, technical guidance, resource allocation, and talent development.
• Manage facilities, infrastructure systems, maintenance, repairs, building performance, safety, quality, and regulatory compliance.
• Direct capital projects, vendor management, budgeting, contract negotiation, and major cost, quality, and delivery initiatives.
• Drive new technology deployment, sustainability programs, workplace optimization, KPI monitoring, and cross-functional execution.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant engineering discipline.
• 10+ years of related experience in operations engineering and maintenance, or equivalent.
• At least 5 years of increasing responsibility in project and/or people management.
• Experience developing and implementing manufacturing facilities and infrastructure systems, including material handling and product functional testing.
• Experience with enterprise-level process deployment, international matrix organizations, and multi-site support.
• Experience with SAP or an equivalent ERP, facilities or structural engineering, CMMS systems, and large-scale project management.

Nice to have

• Master's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering.
