Interiors Project Manager (Interior Design)

Location: Chicago, Illinois, United States; projects are nationwide across the United States and travel is required.

Salary: $100,000–$150,000 annually, plus a discretionary annual bonus.

What you will do

• Develop spatial programs, project requirements, schedules, and internal resource plans with clients and management.
• Guide commercial interior design concepts, budgets, material palettes, furniture specifications, and technical solutions.
• Prepare presentation packages with 2D and 3D documents and lead client presentations.
• Coordinate final documents for governing-authority submissions and oversee construction administration.
• Collaborate with internal teams and consultants while maintaining client relationships and project communication.
• Support proposals, RFP responses, pursuit interviews, community engagement, and colleague coaching.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in interior design or architecture.
• 8+ years of experience in interior design or architecture, primarily in commercial interiors.
• Portfolio demonstrating design and technical capabilities.
• Registration as an architect or interior designer is expected.
• Competence with Adobe Creative Suite, AutoCAD, Revit, and Microsoft Office.
• Strong written and spoken communication, presentation, interpersonal, and coaching skills.
