Client Contracts Attorney

Location: Atlanta, Georgia; remote work is available subject to Firm approval, with occasional travel to the Atlanta office.

Salary: $145,000–$160,000 annualized for eligible listed U.S. markets.

What you will do

• Review outside counsel guidelines, client engagement terms, NDAs, Business Associate Agreements, RFP terms, third-party engagement terms, and other non-standard contracts.
• Advise on the Firm’s ability to comply with contractual obligations and draft or negotiate exceptions.
• Communicate with partners and negotiate directly with clients when instructed.
• Manage contract version control, redline comparisons, finalization, and filing of executed agreements.
• Oversee client due diligence requests and prepare internal memoranda summarizing approved guidelines.
• Coordinate publication of approved and pending client guidelines on the Firm’s intranet.

Requirements

• Juris Doctorate (J.D.).
• At least three years of contract review and negotiation experience.
• Active law license in the jurisdiction where located.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Word Track Changes, Planner, Lists, and document comparison tools such as Litera Compare.
• Excellent oral and written communication, attention to detail, judgment, responsiveness, and workflow-management skills.
• Ability to manage changing priorities, deadlines, and a heavy workload in a fast-paced environment.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of privacy and data protection laws.
• Experience with generative AI tools such as Copilot and Harvey.
