Supplier Quality Engineer, Electrical Component, ASIC/SOC/MUX

What you will do

• Own supplier quality and reliability for ASIC, SOC, and MUX electrical components.
• Manage supplier readiness for new product development and coordinate execution across multiple suppliers.
• Audit supplier quality management systems and manufacturing processes, including fabrication, assembly, and testing.
• Drive device-failure resolution through 8D investigations and validate corrective and preventive action effectiveness.
• Collaborate with design, hardware, firmware, product quality, reliability, procurement, manufacturing, and program management teams.
• Develop supplier-quality KPIs, evaluate supplier performance, and monitor changes in standards and regulatory requirements.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Electrical, Electronics, Materials Science, Physics, Engineering, or a related technical field.
• 5+ years of experience in supplier quality management and quality management; 8+ years in semiconductor, storage, or electronics engineering and manufacturing environments is preferred.
• Strong experience with ASIC, SOC, or MUX products from a high-speed analog/digital signal-switch IC design house.
• Knowledge of FMEA, SPC, 8D, root-cause analysis, CAPA, supplier evaluation, and quality planning.
• Fluent English with strong verbal and written communication skills is required.
• ISO 9001 and IATF 16949 certification is required; Lead Auditor qualification is preferred. Ability to work on-site and travel to supplier locations is required.

Nice to have

• Product engineering experience with PMIC and memory components.
• Lead Auditor qualification.
• Experience with Power BI and quality or statistical analysis software.
