Raw Material Quality and Supplier Management Leader (Semiconductor)

What you will do

• Lead a team of engineers improving raw-material performance, reducing process variation, and lowering customer complaints.
• Develop raw-material strategies for new and existing products and ensure supplier supply plans align with global strategy.
• Lead and participate in supplier audits, technical meetings, improvement activities, and customer issue-resolution engagements.
• Improve supplier quality systems covering change notification, root-cause investigation, documentation, reporting, SPC/SQC, calibration, and non-conforming material review.
• Lead troubleshooting and root-cause investigations for supplied-material issues affecting final-product performance, then develop mitigation strategies.
• Build the global organization through goal setting, coaching, training, development planning, budgeting, and implementation of effective work processes.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Materials Engineering, or Chemistry.
• 7+ years of experience in the semiconductor, specialty chemical, or pharmaceutical industries.
• Experience working cross-functionally with global teams, building relationships, and driving results.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, critical-thinking, leadership, and communication skills.
• Experience using data to identify issues, implement solutions, and track progress; knowledge of statistics, SPC, and statistical design of experiments.
• Ability to develop and implement project plans and travel to the US, Taiwan, Korea, and Japan up to 20%.
