Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) Senior Consultant (TS/SCI Required)

Location: On site in Springfield, Virginia, United States. Travel of up to 25% is required. U.S. citizenship is required.

Salary: $103,000–$180,000 per year, plus potential bonuses and additional compensation for eligible overtime.

What you will do

• Support Federal clients with ERM and internal control programs, including risk profiles, risk registers, process documentation, and internal control testing.
• Identify, assess, categorize, and prioritize organizational risks with stakeholders and help develop documented risk response plans.
• Design, implement, and continuously improve ERM frameworks aligned with OMB, GAO, NIST, Treasury, and other Federal guidance.
• Develop risk awareness communications and training materials and represent high-risk areas through clear reporting.
• Analyze laws, regulations, and policy updates to support business process reengineering, operational efficiency, and automation opportunities.
• Collaborate with client executives and project teams, manage project status, deliver quality work products, and support audit or internal review requests.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related relevant field.
• At least 6 years of accounting or financial management experience, preferably in the Federal government or a similar environment.
• At least 4 years of experience documenting or testing internal controls, performing detailed general ledger analysis, or conducting audit remediation.
• Strong written, verbal, analytical, problem-solving, interpersonal, and project management skills.
• Active TS/SCI clearance with the ability to obtain a polygraph; U.S. citizenship required.

Nice to have

• CPA, CISA, CIA, or another relevant industry certification.
• Experience designing, implementing, and sustaining ERM programs under OMB A-123.
• Experience with FFMIA Section 803(a) assessment programs or Payment Integrity Improvement Act programs.
