Senior Associate, Risk Consulting (Insurance)

Salary: $77,700–$146,900 per year, plus discretionary bonus.

What you will do

• Lead insurance risk consulting engagements from initiation through close-out.
• Provide subject-matter expertise in risk consulting strategies and internal controls.
• Conduct risk assessments and client walkthroughs, review work products, and prepare client deliverables.
• Support process redesign and manage project scope, deadlines, resources, and stakeholder expectations.
• Lead and develop risk consulting professionals through collaboration and on-the-job training.
• Advise insurance clients on leading risk management practices and build relationships with senior stakeholders.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in business, accounting, engineering, or a related discipline.
• At least 2 years of insurance industry experience, including at least 1 year at a public accounting or professional services firm.
• Experience leading projects across the three lines of defense and across insurance functions such as claims, underwriting, actuarial, operations, risk management, internal audit, data, technology, and regulatory compliance.
• Established financial services experience with a focus on insurance.
• Proficiency with word processing, spreadsheet, and presentation tools.
• Ability to travel to meet client needs.

Nice to have

• Relevant certification such as ARM, CRM, CPA, CIA, CFE, or PMP.
