Vendor Risk Management & Onboarding, SVP - Procurement

Location: Miami, FL, United States; full-time, office-based role

Expected annual base salary: $200,000–$225,000, plus discretionary bonuses and possible equity or other incentive compensation.

What you will do

• Lead global third-party risk management and vendor onboarding programs across the Procurement organization.
• Define and oversee data gathering, risk assessments, onboarding assessments, and recurring reviews for high- and critical-risk vendors.
• Develop remediation actions, risk mitigations, contingency plans, policies, procedures, communication plans, and escalation processes.
• Manage team performance, talent development, and oversight of a remote external vendor performing risk management activities.
• Partner with sourcing, legal, compliance, and IT teams to review contracts and maintain regulatory compliance.
• Maintain vendor risk databases, report findings, establish KPIs and SLAs, and lead improvements to risk management platforms and systems.

Requirements

• 15+ years of professional experience, including at least 10 years in vendor risk management or compliance and onboarding.
• Deep knowledge of third-party risk management processes, procedures, frameworks, and global program design.
• Leadership experience building, motivating, and managing distributed or virtual teams.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, decision-making, communication, and relationship-management skills.
• Experience with third-party risk applications and software, Microsoft Office, and relevant business systems.
• Bachelor’s degree in business or a related field; experience in financial services and an MBA are advantages.
