What you will do

  • Maintain global product compliance records and associated technical requirements.
  • Track regulatory changes and assess their impact on products and the organization.
  • Research homologation requirements for different markets and technologies.
  • Sustain product homologation and certifications across worldwide markets.
  • Guide engineering staff in translating compliance requirements into product designs.
  • Provide technical support to Customer Service and advise management on product compliance issues.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a relevant discipline, or equivalent experience.
  • 4+ years of experience with product compliance and homologation practices for industrial, medical, or commercial products.
  • Knowledge of at least one area of product homologation: EMC, safety standards, product ecology, or wireless technologies.
  • Strong writing, documentation, and public speaking skills.
  • Ability to learn new skills, assume responsibilities, and work cooperatively in a team environment.
  • Ability to work in Pullman, Washington.

Nice to have

  • Working knowledge of compliance-related test equipment, test chambers, and testing practices.
  • Experience bringing products to world markets and maintaining compliance within those markets.
