Vice Chair of Operations, Radiology

Salary: $440,000–$518,000 annually

What you will do

• Manage and optimize day-to-day clinical operations across diagnostic radiology.
• Oversee physician staffing and scheduling and improve radiologist workflows.
• Coordinate collaboration among radiologists, technologists, nurses, administrative staff, and other physicians.
• Support departmental strategic planning, quality and safety committees, and operational change.
• Work with the Chair, section chiefs, executive leadership, and residency and fellowship leadership.
• Provide clinical radiology care, teaching, and mentoring for residents and fellows.

Requirements

• Medical degree: MD, DO, or foreign equivalent.
• American Board of Radiology certification in Diagnostic Radiology.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Massachusetts medical license.
• Training or experience in clinical operations, clinical excellence, and/or quality.
• Academic radiology productivity and experience leading clinical operations projects.
• Strong collaboration, mentoring, and change-management skills.
