AI Product Owner (AI)

Location: Boston and Hingham, Massachusetts; the role is intended for candidates local to the Boston, MA office.

Salary: $111,960–$136,840 per year, plus eligibility for variable pay.

What you will do

• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to AI engineering teams.
• Lead the design and implementation of AI agent components, Generative AI integrations, and supporting infrastructure.
• Collaborate with Product Owners to refine technical requirements, estimate effort, and deliver AI features.
• Establish code review practices focused on quality, security, and maintainability.
• Resolve complex technical issues and serve as the team's primary escalation point.
• Evaluate new tools, libraries, and frameworks and support knowledge sharing.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Technology, or a related field; a high school degree or equivalent is the minimum education requirement unless otherwise noted.
• 1–3+ years of hands-on experience with machine learning and deep learning frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, and scikit-learn.
• 1+ year of experience developing agentic solutions, including cloud services such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud and MLOps tools such as Docker and Kubernetes.
• Experience designing and implementing complex AI agent components, including RAG architectures and fine-tuning techniques.
• Experience managing the performance, scalability, and reliability of AI models in production.
• Strong communication, code review, knowledge-sharing, and technology decision-making skills.

Nice to have

• Linux/Unix scripting experience.
• Experience with multiple cloud platforms, including AWS, GCP, and Azure.
• Solution Architect Associate certification, preferably in GCP or AWS.
