Business Analyst II (Fintech)

Location: HQ - San Diego, California, United States

Salary: $70,304–$77,497 per year, plus eligible annual discretionary cash and restricted stock unit bonus targets of 10% each.

What you will do

• Gather, analyze, and document business requirements for initiatives, enhancements, and system integrations.
• Develop and maintain data models, SQL-based reports, KPI dashboards, and operational reporting.
• Perform ad hoc analysis supporting the Deposits, Lending, and Services business units.
• Maintain and enhance Tableau dashboards to improve data accuracy and operational effectiveness.
• Collaborate with project managers, IT professionals, and business stakeholders to define scope, objectives, and deliverables.
• Document business processes, system requirements, and user manuals.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Finance, Statistics, Mathematics, or another quantitative field, or 5+ years of data analytics experience.
• 2+ years of experience building and maintaining Tableau reports.
• Strong T-SQL skills and experience with ad hoc and recurring analysis.
• Ability to collaborate with stakeholders and communicate data-driven insights clearly.
• Experience supporting marketing data operations, including email marketing and servicing list pulls.
• Working knowledge of U.S. consumer financial regulations, including the Privacy Act, Affiliate Opt-Outs, and CAN-SPAM.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with Azure DevOps, GA4, Chrome DevTools, and paid affiliate marketing platforms.
