Data Engineer- Senior (Data Analytics): Developing advanced visual analytic applications and enterprise-scale data platforms for intelligence and analytics initiatives with an accent on structured and semi-structured data, database architecture, and visualization. Focus on designing large-scale relational databases, integrating data warehouses, optimizing high-performance analytics systems, and delivering mission-critical solutions for government programs.
Location: Redstone Arsenal, Huntsville, Alabama; full-time, on-site

What you will do
- Design, develop, and deliver visual analytic applications for desktop and web platforms.
- Build data analytics solutions for bulk analysis of relational and semi-structured data.
- Apply data visualization, advanced graphics, and high-performance computing to support intelligence workflows.
- Design, construct, and maintain enterprise-scale relational databases and data warehouses.
- Integrate new systems with existing data warehouse architectures and optimize performance, scalability, and functionality.
- Collaborate with engineering and mission teams to deliver analytics solutions using open-source, COTS, and GOTS technologies.
Requirements
- Active Top Secret security clearance required.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related technical field.
- 8+ years of related experience at the senior level in data engineering, database design, and analytics development.
- Experience with ETL, Informatica, and Linux.
- Strong experience with structured and semi-structured data sources and enterprise database and data warehouse systems.
- Proficiency with data visualization tools and analytic software for desktop and web environments.
Nice to have
- Experience supporting Department of Defense or Intelligence Community programs.
- Familiarity with high-performance computing environments.
- Experience integrating analytics solutions into existing enterprise architectures.
