Data Engineer

Location: Chantilly, Virginia, United States. Active TS/SCI with Polygraph clearance applicable to the customer is required.

Salary: $150,000–$250,000 USD per year

What you will do

• Design, develop, build, and analyze data management systems.
• Design and implement batch and streaming data pipelines.
• Perform ETL on large unstructured datasets.
• Collaborate with developers, data scientists, subject-matter experts, and cyber analysts.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for data and platform services.
• Containerize applications and deploy them on Kubernetes.

Requirements

• Active TS/SCI clearance with Polygraph, applicable to the customer.
• 5–7 years of experience as a Data Engineer.
• STEM degree in a field such as computer science, statistics, data analytics, computer engineering, or mathematics.
• Experience with Apache Kafka, Apache Spark, and Prefect.
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, Linux-based systems, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Solid understanding of DevOps principles, including automation, monitoring, and reliability.
