GIS - Analyst (SQL/ETL): Managing and supporting the GSND Sandbox through database administration, data ingestion, and ETL development with an accent on SQL Server, PostgreSQL, and workflow automation. Focus on maintaining ingestion pipelines, creating database structures and transformations, and supporting Linux- and AWS-based data workflows.
Location: Mossville, Illinois, United States; onsite full-time

What you will do
- Manage and support the GSND Sandbox with a senior team member.
- Administer SQL Server and PostgreSQL databases.
- Maintain and support existing daily data ingestion processes.
- Develop new databases, tables, ingestion processes, and data transformations.
- Support ETL workflows and database operations.
Requirements
- 5 years of database management experience with one or more databases, including SQL Server, Oracle, DB2, or MySQL.
- Experience writing complex SQL queries and developing ETL processes with tools such as DataStage, Informatica, or Teradata utilities.
- Experience working with Linux.
- Experience installing tools and using job scheduling or data workflow tools such as Crontab or Apache Airflow.
- Programming experience in at least one language.
- Knowledge of AWS architecture.
