Philosophy Non-Tenure Track Faculty (Applicant Pool)

Location: hirify.global; in-person instruction is required for teaching assigned philosophy courses.

What you will do

• Teach introductory-level philosophy courses based on departmental need and available funding.
• Occasionally teach upper-division philosophy courses.
• Deliver quality instruction during a period ranging from several weeks to a semester or academic year.
• Establish rapport with college students and support their academic success.
• Collaborate with faculty, staff, and students while maintaining confidentiality of records and information.

Requirements

• Minimum master’s degree in philosophy or a related field.
• Academic background appropriate for teaching philosophy courses.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Effective interpersonal, judgment, self-motivation, and collaboration skills.
• Commitment to quality teaching and student success.

Nice to have

• Terminal degree in an appropriate field.
• Previous experience teaching similar courses.
