Senior Frontend Engineer (React)

hirify.global Support Services operates support functions for a globally recognized Hard Rock brand.

What you will do

• Maintain and extend a production React application built with TypeScript and modern JavaScript.
• Optimize frontend performance through code-splitting, lazy-loading, efficient data fetching, and Core Web Vitals improvements.
• Build responsive and accessible interfaces aligned with WCAG standards.
• Integrate the application with Adobe Experience Manager in a headless model using persisted GraphQL queries and Universal Editor attributes.
• Collaborate with AEM backend developers on content fragment models and GraphQL schemas.
• Drive code reviews, refactoring, testing strategy, sprint planning, estimation, and technical decisions.

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional software development experience, including 3+ years of frontend development for consumer-facing web applications.
• Strong proficiency in TypeScript, JavaScript ES6+, and React, including hooks, component lifecycle, and performance optimization.
• Experience with large-scale web applications, state management libraries, CSS approaches, RESTful APIs, GraphQL, and asynchronous programming.
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as GitHub Actions or CircleCI.
• Understanding of web performance, responsive design, and WCAG accessibility standards.
• Experience with Jest, React Testing Library, and Cypress or Playwright, plus strong written and verbal communication skills.

Nice to have

• Experience with AEM as a Cloud Service and headless AEM features including content fragments, GraphQL, and Universal Editor.
• Experience with Nx or Turborepo monorepo tooling.
• Familiarity with micro-frontend architecture and analytics tools such as Adobe Analytics, Google Analytics, or LogRocket.
• Contributions to open-source frontend projects.
