What you will do

• Lead implementation of ongoing studies and development of ancillary research, including study design, operations, and reporting.
• Design research project procedures and coordinate Institutional Review Board human-subjects protocols.
• Support participant recruitment, data collection, field work, and project logistics in English and Spanish.
• Develop and translate curricula and program materials for chronic disease prevention and health promotion.
• Prepare grant applications, NIH progress reports, budgets, manuscripts, presentations, manuals, and other dissemination materials.
• Manage Qualtrics, REDCap, data cleaning and analysis, literature reviews, and pre- and post-award coordination.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in public health, nutrition, exercise science, health communication, health administration, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 10 years of related experience.
• Fluency in written and spoken Spanish and English is required.
• Experience managing confidential information with discretion and following privacy and security policies.
• Strong communication, planning, organization, independent-work, multitasking, and collaboration skills.
• Knowledge of word processing, spreadsheet, database, and presentation tools including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Teams.

Nice to have

• Master’s degree in a related field.
• Community-engaged research, evaluation, research management, data collection, or clinical research implementation experience.
• Experience with health research involving underserved populations, minority and urban health, nutrition, food systems, or community-based interventions.
• Experience with human-subjects research, IRB applications, scientific writing, grant proposals, reports, and manuscript editing.
• Knowledge of the Land Grant University and Extension systems.
