What you will do

• Analyze and interpret high-throughput sequencing and multi-omics datasets from animal models and human studies.
• Conduct microbiome, bulk and single-cell RNA sequencing, spatial transcriptomics, proteomics, metabolomics, and multi-omics integration analyses.
• Develop and maintain bioinformatics pipelines for data processing and quality control.
• Collaborate with biologists, nutrition scientists, and clinicians to generate biomedical research insights.
• Prepare figures, reports, manuscripts, and grant applications.
• Mentor graduate students and contribute to analytical methods and research directions.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree and eight years of related experience.
• Demonstrated experience analyzing next-generation sequencing data.
• Proficiency in R, Python, Linux/Unix, and statistical analysis.
• Experience with microbiome, transcriptomics, proteomics, or metabolomics datasets.
• Strong publication record and excellent communication skills.

Nice to have

• Master’s or Ph.D. in bioinformatics, computational biology, genomics, biostatistics, computer science, systems biology, or a related field.
• Experience with single-cell RNA sequencing, multi-omics integration, and systems biology.
• Familiarity with cloud computing, high-performance computing clusters, and machine learning methods.
• Experience with pathway enrichment, network analysis, and visualization tools.
