Salary: $86,600–$144,900 annually.

What you will do

  • Optimize highly automated manufacturing equipment and processes through automation, advanced process control, and data-driven solutions.
  • Integrate production systems with upper-level computers and configure parameters for varying production loads.
  • Own preventive maintenance planning, machine performance analysis, equipment improvements, and constraint reduction.
  • Track department KPIs and use electronic tools and complex algorithms to solve manufacturing problems.
  • Lead continuous-improvement and Six Sigma projects focused on flow, efficiency, quality, and reliability.
  • Support equipment life-cycle management, automation updates, technician training, and cross-functional technical collaboration.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related technical field.
  • 3–5 years of relevant professional experience in a manufacturing environment; automotive or battery-cell manufacturing experience is preferred.
  • Working knowledge of industrial processes, preventive-maintenance planning, and machine-safety standards.
  • Experience with 2D and 3D vision systems for robot guidance, metrology, and identification.
  • Leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills, with the ability to work varied shifts and travel extensively, including internationally.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States; visa sponsorship is not available.

Nice to have

  • 5+ years of relevant Manufacturing Engineering experience.
  • Master’s degree in Engineering.
  • Knowledge of Industry 4.0 technologies, including data collection, AI/ML, IIoT, and digital twins.
  • Experience with Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, FMEAs, AutoCAD, and Planner.
